Massamatic has sponsored the 2020 large Pumpkin growing competition weighed at a closed event on 26 April 2020.

This year a record weight of 860 kg was grown and recorded. The winner (Mr Piet Lotz) received a hefty R17 500 prize money from Freshmark for the effort.
